Stick Saturday 27th June in your calendar...
At 8pm (UK time) we'll be premiering our brand new video for Rum River on YouTube.
On a bitterly cold Saturday night back in January 2018 the two of us cracked open a bottle of rum, dug out an old halogen floodlight, fired up our ageing smoke machine for the final time before it died of neglect, and we recorded some footage to make a music video for our then unfinished recording of the song.
We shot the footage ourselves, selfie style, using a hand-held smart phone outside the Rum Shack (that's our misleadingly grandiose moniker for the leaky garage where we rehearse and drink rum).
The resulting music video is grainy, low-fi, and it looks cool as hell. And in true Dusk Brothers style, it's only taken us a little over two years to finally finish and release it (well it's gotta be right, right?).
So join us for the premiere. We'll be there doing the live chat thing too - we'll all watch the video together, rum in hand as it drunkenly ventures out into the world for the first time, and we'll all have a bloody good time. Just like the last one. Only even better.
